THERMOSHIELD C is a liquid concentrate intended for use as a neutralizing agent in machine processing of medical instruments after the use of an alkaline product, such as THERMOSHIELD basiX or THERMOSHIELD Xtreme in the cleaning step. The acidic pH of THERMOSHIELD C keeps both instruments and the machine free of inorganic deposits, especially calcium. Using THERMOSHIELD C in the neutralization step helps protect sensitive materials and prevents the transfer of residual alkali from the cleaning step.
