Finia: The first of its kind in automated filling and finishing process

Finia is an automated system that prepares and aliquots fluids, including cell suspensions, for cryopreservation. The system consists of a device, a handheld barcode scanner, a touchscreen monitor, and closed single-use tubing sets.

Reducing variability in the filling and finishing process

• Maintaining cell viability post-thaw above 90% for cell products from healthy T-cell donors.
• Maintaining cell viability after formulation above 95% from initial cell viability.
• Maintaining cell concentration consistency within 5%.
• Maintaining final product temperature within 3 °C (± 3 °C) of user-defined target temperature.
• System management by a single operator with only 12 minutes of manual time per cycle.

Cell Processing Software

The cell processing application facilitates compliance with cGMP regulations. This standalone server software manages device and procedure data. Data is automatically transferred between the system and the application during operation.
