Tomes is an operating system for data management that includes software and hardware designed to work with many Terumo devices.

Using Tomes with T-RAC II:

Automatically records, stores, and displays all important GMP data, including net weight of collected whole blood, date, time, barcode scans, events, and more.

Allows electronic data transfer via a local area network (LAN) and enables real-time monitoring of active devices.

Provides two-way data communication with blood bank management systems, which is useful for increasing automation and safety, as well as for setting programming parameters on the device.

When connected to blood bank management systems (two-way data communication), it can provide extended functions, such as donor verification and specific configuration based on input from the blood bank management system.
