A clear view on infusion
Description

Terumo’s Terufusion Advanced Infusion System offers precise syringe pumps for safe use without additional burden on healthcare personnel. We combine cutting-edge technology with simple operation to facilitate improved patient outcomes. Using advanced technologies, Terufusion™ (Smart) pumps make medication administration easy and safe, providing enhanced infusion capabilities and allowing integration into hospital networks.

Features:

  • Clear information at a glance:

Healthcare workers need to see critical information effectively, accurately, and quickly. Complete information on the large color screen helps healthcare workers get all the essential details right and efficiently. Healthcare workers handle many different types of drugs and dosing regimens daily, which can lead to errors. The use of the Terufusion drug library can help reduce this risk. Drug types can be defined using color coding, which appears on the screen.
  • Safety first:

Healthcare workers need to instantly recognize which alarm or warning has been triggered. Using colors and realistic illustrations, the Terufusion™ pump immediately distinguishes between high (red) and low (yellow) priority alarms. Red alarms require immediate action, while yellow indications inform of upcoming actions in the near future.
  • Optimized patient care:

For optimizing patient treatment, balanced and continuous infusion of multiple medications is essential. Internal communication between Terufusion™ (Smart) syringe pumps in the Terufusion™ communication system provides special features, such as the Take Over Mode.
  • Extensive communication capabilities:

In addition to connectivity via the communication system (WIFI, wired LAN, and RS-232C), Terufusion™ (Smart) syringe pumps also offer standalone WIFI connectivity. Hospital staff can upload drug libraries to the pumps, download data history, analyze them in a graphical format, and collect feedback to improve operations. The pumps can also be integrated into hospital information systems.
