Types of medications can be defined using color coding, which appears on the screen.

• Prevention of unintended infusion:

  If a healthcare worker forgets to close the roller clamp when removing tubing from the infusion pump, the risk of free flow is quite high. The Anti Free Flow (AFF) function prevents unintended excessive infusion by automatically closing the tubing with an anti-free flow clip when the door is opened.
