Instructions for Use:

• Coagulation test tubes should never be sampled as first tube after venepuncture to avoid influence on test results from released tissue thromboplastin.
• The tourniquet should be released during sampling of blood for coagulation tests.
• Drawn samples should be mixed carefully and gently immediately after sampling (min. 5 times).
• Immediately after sampling check the drawn blood volume. Blood meniscus should be on or above the draw lines to assure that a correct ratio is maintained.
• Centrifugation conditions might be adapted in accordance with SOP in use by the Laboratory.
  Venosafe tubes withstand centrifugation speed up to 4 000 G with stopper and above 13 000 G without stopper.
